Kay Jones > Vacation? Holidays? Not! Tom and Henning spent an entire day replacing our over-heated tires in the heat wave in DC. We had two blow-outs a few days before! No accidents were caused and no injuries were had, but it was a scary ride.
Kay Jones > Henning stands in front of the fishing pier in VA Beach. Our truck thermometer read 107 F today! Too hot to stay outside for very long. The sign means no adults should ride the horses on the carousel.
Kay Jones > Henning Indian Chief visits the National Air & Space Museum.
Kay Jones > Henning holds a MD crab which he will learn how to eat.
Kay Jones > Henning follows our directions on how to eat a crab.
Kay Jones > Henning enjoys his best meal so far on this trip: Famous Dave's barbequed pork ribs.
Kay Jones > Henning visits the Air & Space Museum's Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center near the Dulles Airport.
Kay Jones > Kay, Tom, and Henning eat again, this time at the Hard Rock Cafe in DC. Tom comments, "I look rather grim in this picture for a reason. We are in the Hard Rock Cafe. The food is horrible, but at least it is expensive!"
Kay Jones > Henning and Tom often wait for Kay, the photographer.
