Kay Jones > A cypress tree in the Everglades has many "knees."  One theory is that the sometimes knobby knees extend into the air to help get oxygen to the roots.
Kay Jones > Look closer in the sawgrass and you will see several alligators, several egrets, and a group roseate spoonbills.

Kay Jones > Great Blue Heron in Shark Valley National Park FL preens himself.  The Great Blue Heron is the largest bird in the park.
Kay Jones > This big 'gator crossed our path as we walked to the toilet and the tower to view the Everglades.  People actually walked right in front of this critter!  I waited for our tram driver to chase him into the water with a stick.
Kay Jones > There were two alligator babies, one on each side of the Momma 'gator in Shark Valley NP.
