Kay Jones > Tom calls this our "Raggedy Ann" flower. I planted several of these bulbs, but I can't remember their name. This first one looks like a shaggy dahlia or sunflower. These are planted around my sun circle patio along with some sunflowers and wildflowers like poppies and bachelor's buttons.
Kay Jones > I first saw an abutilon or Chinese lantern plant in a Japanese garden in Texas. I have two of them in our garden. This one is a cream color.
Kay Jones > This blue bachelor's button came-up from some wildflower seeds that I planted around my sun-circle patio.
Kay Jones > I first saw blanket flowers in Texas. These are growing well on a bush in the backyard.
Kay Jones > Beard-tongue is a kind of penstemmon. I have four of these plants that have dark red and green leaves. They are about 2-3 feet tall now, and the hummingbirds love them.
Kay Jones > These princess lilies have sprung-up all over the front yard. I liked them so much that I bought a few additional plants. They are growing well under the hydrangeas making a colorful ground cover.
Kay Jones > Princess lily ...

Kay Jones > Some gladiolas have come-up on the lower level terrace. I am so glad that they are not PINK.
