This photo of Tom and me was taken as we headed from Marcos Island near Naples FL to Key West for the day. It was a very chilly, windy day in January, but we had a very good time. You may view photos of our travels in Southern Florida by clicking on the photo.

I am a former teacher, full-time RV'er touring the USA, and Image Nomad. I love to take photos of Mother Nature's works of art as we travel because "a picture says a thousand words." Please visit my travel website, Image Nomads.
I have always been a photo junkie. Tom says I was hooked on photos, not phonics. My most treasured resource as a teacher was my picture file. The photos were "eye candy" used as writing prompts. My directions to my students were: "A picture says a thousand words; write a few words to create a picture." Many collections of students' creative writings inspired by photos were published. I collected photos from postcards, magazines, newspapers, and old calendars.
